Velocity Expands In Midwest

Bridging the gap between the East and West.

Citing "growing demand in the market" and a need "to bridge the gap between the East and West," Velocity Commercial Capital, a national real estate lender specializing in originating and securitizing small-balance commercial loans, has expanded its operations with a new Midwest regional office.

The new office is based in Rosemont, Ill. It will serve a wider local area, where the company is further growing its presence attending to markets where demand appears to be on the rise. Velocity also has an office in Stamford, Conn. "We are excited about the growth potential for Velocity in the Midwest," said company president Chris Farrar. "The opening of this office gives Velocity operational centers in all three major time zones. The Midwest presence will surely translate into better customer service and easier interactions throughout the country."

The expansion, Velocity said, will serve well broker clients interested in the small-balance commercial niche. Since 2004, Velocity operates as a direct wholesale lender that works with both full-doc and stated small-balance commercial loans ranging from $100,000 to $3 million.
