Point Reaches Out By Anthony Garritano As the industry shrinks, brokers are going to need to be more connected to their partners. Seamless interfaces and less re-keying will cut time and money out of the process, which everyone needs nowadays to survive. Realizing this trend broker LOS company Calyx Software has expanded the Calyx Network with a new network interface update. The January Calyx Network Interface update contains connections to 12 mortgage service providers. The Calyx Network allows users of Calyx Software's Point loan origination software to connect directly with lenders and mortgage service providers, automating data exchange and streamlining the loan origination process. Updates are automatically installed into Calyx Point and add new providers to the application on a bi-monthly basis. The Calyx Network Interface update is automatically installed into Point versions 5.2 and higher as users open their software and connect to the Internet. The following mortgage service providers have joined The Calyx Network: credit providers CCR, Credit Plus USA, Information Searching Co., RCR Credit; flood providers Land America Tax and Flood Services; closing docs providers ProClose Platinum - Web Interface, PeirsonPatterson, LLP; hazard insurance provider Safeco Insurance; Internet services provider ComplianceEase; loan servicing provider Equity Express Biweekly Servicing; and title/escrow providers ClosingPoint and United Title Company.
