Document Services
Archive Systems Picked By Affinity Credit Union
Archive Systems Inc. here will provide mortgage loan document management services
for Affinity Federal Credit Union, Basking Ridge, N.J.
The credit union is the largest in the state with 19 branches and over 118,000 members. "In an effort to better
serve our members by streamlining the flow of paperwork and to formalize our document retention policies, we researched
a number of applications and vendors to provide what we needed," said Roland Plante, assistant vice president
of AFCU's consulting services. "Archive Systems' comprehensive offering provided everything we needed in a
services-based model. It will allow us to focus on servicing the credit needs of our members while they focus on
our paper."
Archive Systems' product is called ASPEN 360. It is "software as a service" technology, which allows
unlimited access to authorized users and can be administered and accessed remotely from any Internet connection.
Users can make notes on a document just as if they were using paper. These include highlighting text, affixing
sticky notes, writing free-form text, blocking out confidential information, or affixing a predetermined stamp
on a document.
Wholesalers can use the mortgage industry edition of ASPEN 360. "ASPEN 360 enables organizations like AFCU
to address multiple objectives and to easily overcome their paper management challenges," said Rick Kushel,
chairman and chief executive of Archive Systems. "They don't have to install or maintain any software or hardware,
or maintain a separate records management program since we provide all of these services. ASPEN 360 allows organizations
to plug in and generate immediate results, without worrying about paper-based processing and in-house system requirements."
