UG's New Courses

This past summer, AIG United Guaranty, the mortgage insurance firm based here, rolled out several new online seminars, giving it 18 in total.

The latest course offerings include: * "It's All About Assets" teaches standard guidelines for using and documenting assets, how assets impact loan risk, and the areas in which their customers may have assets and not even know it. * "Reviewing Documentation" teaches loan processors how to read supporting loan documentation, including verifications, sales contracts, bank statements, W2 forms and more.

In addition to online seminars, AIG United Guaranty offers a broad selection of mortgage seminars, sales and personnel training, and industry-oriented curricula. Mortgage professionals can learn more about training opportunities at
www.ugmortgagetraining.com.

Other courses listed on the website include ones that cover the Universal Residential Loan Application, fraud, appraisals, credit scoring, disclosures, analyzing the borrower's income from tax returns, Desktop Originator and Loan Prospector, cash flow analysis, understanding underwriting and reading credit reports.

The company also sells training games on mortgage fraud and credit scoring.
