Hyland and Bisys Form Strategic Alliance Involving OnBase Software

NEW YORK -- Hyland Software Inc. and developer and financial services outsourcer Bisys here have formed a strategic alliance involving the former company's OnBase software.

The alliance will help Hyland Software assist Bisys in electronically delivering mortgage-related document services.

OnBase helps Bisys' client banks electronically manage documents, including application files, reports, forms and statements. It also is integrated with Bisys' processing systems, loan origination systems and customer relationship management services.

Brenda Kirk, financial services industry director at Hyland Software, said in a press release that the document services replace manual elements with automated retrieval, viewing and the ability to cross-reference documents.

Users include Virginia Savings Bank, which recently purchased the OnBase solution and Ohio-based Peoples Community Bank, which has completed the implementation of the automation, according to a Hyland Software press release.
